The purpose of the AMU Art Club is to bring art to Ave! We want all students at AveMaria University to have a place to make art and be creative! Our goal is to bring students together to experience to joy of making art!
Our club has bi-weekly meetings focused on different art media, including drawing, painting, photography, and more! We also occasionally have art instruction for those who want to learn techniques or improve their skills! Lastly, the Art Club puts on fun events such as museum trips and our spring semester Art Show!
The biggest event of the year for the Art Club is the Spring Semester Art Show! Last year was super successful, with 30 participating artists! This semester we are also hoping to do a Bob Ross Paint night and a hiking & photography event in collaboration with the Environment Club!
To be a member of the AMU Art Club, one must attend meetings at least once a month, or a total of 4 meetings per semester.
