Nursing Club

Ave Maria University's Nursing Club is a vibrant community of aspiring healthcare professionals dedicated to excellence in patient care. Committed to the ideals of compassion, service, and skill development, the club offers a range of activities to support members' academic and professional growth. From guest speaker events and skills workshops to volunteer opportunities and clinical experiences, students engage in hands-on learning and networking within the nursing field. The club also fosters camaraderie and peer support, creating a nurturing environment where members can thrive both academically and personally. Ave Maria's Nursing Club embodies the university's commitment to preparing compassionate and competent nurses for the future.

To be a member of the nursing club, students must be working towards a nursing degree. Attendance of at least 1 meeting a semester is required. There are no dues as of yet. Students may be removed from club if they are no longer working towards a nursing degree, do not attend any meetings in a semester, or are deemed harmful to the club in any way by unanimous vote of the club officersThe goals of the club are to bring more awareness of the nursing profession to nursing students as well as opportunities for students to grow in their future profession and education. One of our long term goals is to have more of a presence on campus.
