Thomistic Institute Chapter

Ave Maria University's Thomistic Institute Chapter is a vibrant intellectual forum dedicated to exploring the richness of Catholic thought and philosophy. Named in honor of St. Thomas Aquinas, the chapter delves into the intersection of faith and reason, hosting lectures, seminars, and discussions on topics ranging from theology to ethics to metaphysics. Through engaging with the works of St. Thomas Aquinas and other prominent Catholic thinkers, members deepen their understanding of the Catholic intellectual tradition and its relevance to contemporary issues. With a commitment to rigorous inquiry and respectful dialogue, the Thomistic Institute Chapter cultivates a community of scholars dedicated to truth-seeking and spiritual growth.

Events include: Aquinas 101 Watch Parties (weekly), Metaphysics Outside the Pub (weekly), and Lectures held by Fr. Gregory Pine, Fr. Thomas Joseph White, and more, as well as an annual disputation between two of our professors.
